this year my victim for secret santa wasn't quite as easy to approach (the fact that i did not know him personally, like last year, meant that i probably shouldn't poke fun at his cultural heritage or physical attributes). and the only detail that i was able to get a firm grasp on was their self-proclaimed status of "geek for philosophy"; hence, socrates and philosoraptor.
